About Us This site is run by South Asian Cinema Foundation (SACF), London. SACF was founded in January 2000 to take film lovers from all over the globe on exciting trips to areas you may never have been to before... SACF‘s Board includes well-known film critics, historians, filmmakers and people from the world of cinema in South Asia and the west. SACF publishes a thematic journal - South Asian Cinema. It has also taken the lead in organising cinema events related to specific issues, themes or film genres. Our Mission To promote and project meaningful South Asian cinema and build a positive film culture among film audiences especially in the UK. To analyse and document South Asian film history and build film archives for posterity. |
